      Create your first Video Tutorial

It's now easier than ever to create video tutorials on any
subject you like. By recording your computer screen you
can teach people how to use software, how to check their
emails, or complete any task.
 
Video tutorials are the next best thing to actually showing
someone in person. It can even be better in some cases,
because a video tutorial can be replayed over and over until
the pupil fully understands. 

Not only can you teach numerous people with video tutorials
while only doing the work once, they can be sold to provide
a good source of additional cash income.

Step 1: Deciding on your topic for the tutorial.

This needs to be something that you are very well versed
about. Make sure that your topic is a well rounded subject,
by that I mean that your subject has a good conclusion, and
the pupil is not left wondering what comes next.

Step 2:  Decide what sort of video you are going to make.

There are several 'types' of video and you should decide
how you are going to make yours. For example, are you going
to make a Powerpoint video, which is purely made up of
slides, one following on from another. 

Or maybe an 'over the shoulder' type of video, where you set
up a webcam to record what you are doing on your computer
screen, and also talking the viewer through the process.

Or you could use a mixture of the two, with slides
interspersed with either still shots of your computer screen
or live video sections.

Step 3: Decide on the software to use to make the video.

Now you know what sort of video you want to make you can
choose the software(s) you need to achieve your aim. There
are now many softwares available, both free and paid, to
choose from. There are also many tutorials available to
help you to quickly learn how to use this type of software.

Step 4: Write your Script

It's always best to write down the steps you are going to
cover, and the script for your video. Doing this will help
to ensure you do not miss any steps or stages.

Step 5: Perform your script

You don't necessarily have to follow your script verbatim,
after all you don't want to sound too 'mechanical', but
following the steps you have laid out will ensure you do
not accidentally skip anything. This way your tutorial will
have a professional feel.

Get a friend or two to view it before you start to
distribute your tutorial, and ask for their honest feedback. 
This can help to catch any flaws you may have missed.

Step 6:  Editing

Here you can edit out any "umms" or mistakes.  When you are
recording originally, remember you do not have to keep
stopping and starting. Mistakes can easily be edited out
at this stage.

Step 7:  Format your Video for viewing.

The format you will deliver your tutorial in will depend on
how you plan to deliver it.  Making copies in several
formats may widen your sales options.

Step 8:  Finish

Now your video tutorial is complete and it's time to sell
it or give it away by promoting it.

There is nothing like the power of video.  Video tutorials
can be produced quickly and profitably.

what did you think I meant? Viral marketing can work well
for B2B providers, as long as the following is true:

1. The product or service has to add value for the sender,
as well as, the receiver.

2. The offer has to be deliverable. You don’t want to offer
a product that you can’t deliver if demand grows rapidly.

3. The offer has to be easily transferable to others.
E-mail and Web pages provide the best medium to facilitate
this.

4. The vest viral marketing campaigns use existing networks
to move the message along.

The basis of viral marketing has been around for a long
time. The idea is that you incite your customers or
referral sources to pass on something about your business
to their network of colleagues and friends. Those that pass
on your information get something in return. The something
might be a gift or service related to your business.

Using e-mail makes it incredibly easy to pass information
on to a friend or colleague, especially if it involves
something fun or free. With millions using the Internet
worldwide, the potential for exponential growth is
tremendous. The great things about viral marketing are that
it is free and works virtually by itself. Once you make an
offer and provide the facility for referrals, viral
marketing spreads like… well… a virus…but the good kind.

To implement viral marketing at your business; first, start
with your customer base. Incite existing customers to refer
new ones. Second, go to your referral sources. Service
providers, your outside network and colleagues can be
encouraged to provide referrals that lead to business.

If your customers are stressed business owners, offer a
reward that provides relaxation and leisure... like a
weekend away.
