Over the past years, web hosting has grown bigger than it
used to be. With more companies getting into this business
and finding the many benefits it can give them, the demand
for web hosting has never been higher. These seem to be the
trend of today.

38 million people have put up their very first websites
online this year 2005 alone. It is estimated that by 2008,
the internet sales industry will top then dollar bank. And
to think, majority of those sites will be offering
different affiliate programs for people to choose and
participate in.

This only means one thing. It is easier now to find the
right web host for your application. The possibility of
quality web hosting companies separating themselves from
the rest of the industry is anticipated. If this is done,
the unprofessional and incompetent ones will suffer.

Support will be the number one consideration for people
when choosing a web host. It will be obvious that
traditional advertising will become less and less
effective. Most people would rather opt for the web host
based on things that they see and hear. Also based on the
recommendations by those who have tried them and have
proved to be successful.

This is a great opportunity for web hosting affiliates and
resellers alike. There would be hundreds of web hosting and
programs to choose from that the difficulty in finding the
right one for them is not a problem anymore.

How does one become a successful affiliate in the niche
markets using web hosting?

If you think about it, everyone who needs a website needs a
web hosting company to host it for them. As of now, there
is really no leading hosting industry so most people choose
hosts based from recommendations. Usually, they get it from
the ones that have already availed of a web hosting
services.

With the many hosts offering affiliate programs, there is
the tendency to find the one which you think will work best
for you. Think of the product you will be promoting.
Pattern them to the site and see if they are catering to
the same things as you are.

When you have been with one host for quite some time and
seem not to be making much despite all your effort, leave
that one and look for another. There is no use in trying to
stick to one when you would be better off in another one.
Things will only have to get better from there because you
already have been in worst situations.

Try this out. If you are quite happy and satisfied with
your web host, try to see if they are offering an affiliate
program you can participate in. Instead of you paying them,
why not make it the other way around; them paying you. The
process can be as easy as putting a small “powered by” or
“hosted by” link at the bottom of your page and you are
already in an affiliate business.

Why choose paying for your web hosting when you do not have
to? Try to get paid by letting people know you like your
web host.

Always remember that when choosing a web host, choose the
one that is known for its fantastic customer support. There
are also many hosting affiliate programs. Residual
affiliate program is also being hosted. This is the program
wherein you get paid a percentage every month for a client
that you refer. This can allow you to have a steady source
of income. With perseverance, you can even be quite
successful in this field.

There are a lot of niche markets out there just waiting for
the right affiliate to penetrate to them and make that
dollars dream come true. Knowing which one to get into is
being confident enough of your potentials and the good
results you will be getting.

Web hosting is just one affiliate market you could try out
and make some good and continuous income. Just remember
that to be successful on your endeavor also means that
time, effort and patience is needed.

Nobody has invented the perfect affiliate market yet. But
some people do know how to make it big in this kind of
market. It is just knowing your kind of market and making
the earnings there.

I have several bits of news today on this 6th day of
January. The first thing is I have told you about my dads
health sense the 27th of last November and today I am proud
to announce that he after 5 weeks with us is going back to
his house this week after making a full recovery, not bad
for a 79 year old man. He is my hero for so many many
reasons this reason is huge is a big fighter that is why he
is still alive.

Increase Opt-in's In 3 Simple Steps

If you haven't yet started a mailing list to augment your
blog or other website now is the time to get started.
Mailing lists are economical and simple tools for building
relationships with current and potential customers while
also improving traffic with short reminders to visit your
site.

Most people understand the importance of testing sales
pagevariables to increase profitability, but what about
testing your opt-in forms? The good news is with an aweber
account there is a simple three step solution that can
super charge your mailing opt ins.

1. To perform a split or A/B test you will need to sign
into your aweber account and at a minimum create two web
forms of the popunder variety. Why popunders? Simply put
they convert better than sidebar forms.

2. On the bottom of the web form page there is an option
for creating a split test. Do this and setup each of your
forms to display half of the time in a fifty-fifty split
test. If you want to test more than two that is fine just
break up the display rate evenly.

3. After creating the split test click on the link to
generate the code to use in your blog or other web pages.
If adding to Wordpress you will need to go into the
presentation tab (as if you want to change theme), then the
theme editor.You will want to insert the split test code
into the Header file directly below the </head> html tag.

With the split test setup and integrated into your blog or
site now let it go to work. After a certain amount of time,
depending entirely on how many visitors your site has, take
a look at your aweber account and review the statistics
gathered for the split test. If one form is performing
better than the other then add another popunder to the
split test. Remeber to be creative when setting up these
forms with different words, phrases, fonts and colours.

After the initial setup you probably do not need to make
any changes to the test, again depending almost entirely
onthe volume of traffic and unique displays during that
timeframe. To date spending no more than a few minutes each
month for my sites has resulted in a minimum two percent
increase of mailing list subscribers.

Good Ad - Bad Ad

Why do people think they can throw together a crummy ad,
post it in a few obscure places on the Internet, and wonder
why they are still as poor as a "church mouse?" Well guys,
it just doesn't work that way.

Let's talk about some of the things you must take into
account when writing ad copy. You need to ensure your
message is read, otherwise you are simply wasting your time
and advertising dollars. In order to do this, your copy
must stand out from the rest. There are a number of ways to
do this, and contrary to what many of the "pundits" say,
there really is no magic formula.

If you are in business, you should subscribe to a number of
ezines. Take care to read the ads, and see which ones get
your attention. There are some very good copywriters, and
you could do well to learn from them. Keep an electronic
scrapbook of ones you feel are worthwhile.

Any good copy should entice a prospect to click on the link
and open it. Whether you wish to point them to a website,
or request an email from you, it is critical that you make
this easy for them. Don't forget that a lot of people don't
know how to type very well, or are just plain lazy.

Always list your web site with the http:// in front of the
URL. Example - <http://adv-marketing.com> - This allows
them to simply click on it, and they will immediately be
taken to your site.

Likewise, always include mailto: in front of your email
address - <Example -<mailto:bob@adv-marketing.com> as this
will open their email client and easily allow them to send
you an email.

So once you get your ad copy written, where should you
advertise?

Ezine advertising is affordable, fast and effective. It
allows you to get your message in front of your potential
customers quickly and easily, wherever they are in the
world. Ezine advertising should be high on your list of
advertising methods.

On the other hand, email advertising (spam) has become
passe'. This has resulted in overflowing inboxes across the
globe, and essentially means that your e-mail message is
competing with hundreds, possibly thousands of others to
gain the attention of the reader. Most people simply hit
their delete key as fast as they arrive. Others, myself
included, filter out the majority of the spam
automatically, and it is never even seen.

The best use of e-mail is to respond to a prospect's
request for information, follow up with former clients or
contact your existing customers. Former and existing
customers are normally your warmest market.

You can write articles in your area of expertise, and send
them to your own list of ezine editors. The articles should
be non-commercial, and not be simply ads for your business.
Most publications however, allow you to include your
author's credits at the end of the article. This again,
should not be blatantly commercial, but can invite the
readers to your website or to send you an email.

If you hope to attract people to your offers, you must get
your prospects attention. If you don't, you have just lost
a potential customer.

2007 Reflections, 2008 Predictions

The lens through which viewers receive their news has changed. The images of struggle are no

longer frozen in time; technology has helped preserve and personalize these conflicts by

producing moving tributes to the conflicts of humankind.

The strife and internal conflicts that marred the globe in 2006 continued into 2007: Mynamar

(Burma), Palestine and Lebanon all continue to struggle with internal conflicts in their

borders. The differences between 2006 and 2007 are not obvious; however, under close

examination, it is evident that several external struggles have been transformed into internal

conflicts. In 2006, many countries attempted to influence their neighbors. This was evident

with Iran attempting to influence the turmoil in Iraq, and Syria attempting to control Lebanon.

Both struggles have evolved into internal personal conflicts in 2007.

While video is not a new technology, the spread of video-viewing technology in devices like the

iPod has brought the faces of terror into the homes of the western world. Advances in

technology have also encouraged the West to open both their hearts and wallets, with many

sponsoring children like Youseff, a child with a horribly scarred face. The same technology

that brought Youssef's story to millions of homes, also helped bring tragedies like the

Virginia Tech massacres.

In 2007, the heavy reliance on technology forced censorship and spying to the forefront of

concerns. Many western countries accused the communist nation, China, of cyber snooping and

hacking. Also, Russia did not remain unscathed in 2007, with widespread suspicion and

accusations following the death of Alexander Litvinenko in late 2006. On a more positive note,

North Korea seems to have complacently agreed to nuclear compliance.

With Armadinajad's (the President of Iran) comments about homosexuality heard world wide, many

found them comical. He took the "don't ask, don't tell" policy to an extreme, denying the

existence of homosexuality in the country of Iran. While the Western World smirks, the

repressiveness of the Iranian regime lacks humor. The proximity and repeated threats against

Israel illustrate the region's unchanged tension.

With the exception of the California Wildfires, nature spared the US of it's wrath in 2007.

However, places like the Minneapolis bridge were victim to construction flaws, leading to

collapse. Furthermore, the falling dollar was the victim of economics.

As culture and society have evolved, so have viruses. We have seen drug resistant TB, and

"super bugs". These drug resistant super bugs are said to rival diseases like AIDs and have the

capacity to decimate an entire population.

While technology has personalized the struggles of humankind, the internet has become a flood

of information making it more difficult than ever to discern what is fact and what is fiction.

This generation struggles to remember a world without the Internet. A world without the "web"

is as unthinkable as a world without TV's, microwaves, or telephones. The next generation will

not know a world without the real time moving images that bring news and information to their

fingertips. Will the globalization and portability of news make a difference when it comes to

tolerance and understanding? That is for the future generation to decide.
